Sully, meet Sully.

Sully, the service dog who belonged to the late President George H.W. Bush, met his namesake Thursday.

Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, the former airline pilot who is known for saving 155 people when he landed a plane in New York City's Hudson River in 2009, shook hands with the service dog on the TODAY show Thursday.

Sullenberger called it "an honor" to meet the dog, who served by the Bushes until the former president died in November.
