Missing Wicomico County man found dead in Delaware: Police
A Wicomico man reported missing earlier this month has been found dead in Millsboro, Delaware, by officers from Millsboro Police Department and Delaware State Police.
David Hall's body was located Wednesday, Dec. 9, as police responded to the wooded area of Bobbys Branch Road around 4 p.m., for a check on the welfare of an individual, according to a Delaware State Police spokesperson.
"There were no signs of foul play, and there is no safety concerns for the community," said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper, Delaware State Police public information officer.
The Pittsville resident was reported missing by his wife on Thursday, Dec. 3, according to Maryland State Police.
Hall's wife told police she hadn't seen her husband since Nov. 20, according to a recent press release from Maryland State Police, when troopers conducted a domestic escort at the residence the couple shared in Pittsville.
That day, police say he left the residence on foot with some belongings. Telling his wife he would be picked up by a friend, Hall did not give any indication of his destination or direction of travel, according to the release.
Maryland State Police had been leading the search — but the investigation will continue in Delaware.
