The Department of Transportation is offering students free bus rides on regularly scheduled bus routes to access school meal programs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., until schools are back in session.

The Food Bank of Delaware will host a drive-thru mobile pantry for struggling families. Participants are asked to bring proof of identification and Delaware residency. All food recipients must stay in a vehicle. The Food Bank of Delaware also requests that participants make sure their trunks are cleared out so volunteers can load food with minimal interaction. In Sussex, the event will occur on Thursday, March 19, starting at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, in Georgetown.
