Serafin Ensemble to perform live, virtual concerts

Serafin Ensemble will perform “Summer Surprise — Songs of Norway” in a live concert at 5 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Music School of Delaware, Wilmington Concert Hall, 4101 Washington St., followed by a virtual concert at 7 p.m. Aug. 25. 

Featuring the Norwegian virtuoso siblings Julie and David Coucheron, on piano and violin, joined by Charae Krueger, cello, Julianne Lee, viola, William Ransom, piano, Kate Ransom, violin, and Augustine Mercante, countertenor, the performance will feature selections from Grieg, Lalo, Halvorsen, Handel and Sinding. 

Tickets are $20, and are available at musicschoolofdelaware.org/event-ticketing. Live tickets are limited and include the virtual broadcast. Virtual tickets are available for purchase until 4 p.m. Aug. 25. 

COVID-19 precautions will be in place for the safety and comfort of concertgoers.
