Some fun Delaware events for you to dive into this weekend, from Dec. 13-15.

1. Jimi Hendrix tribute artist Jimy Bleu will hang a mistletoe on a cloud so he can “Kiss the Sky” this weekend.

The program features Bleu, a virtuoso guitarist and former Columbia recording artist, who’s backed by a cast of world-class touring musicians from the New York area.

Those performers have played with major acts like Pearl Jam, Aretha Franklin, LL Cool J, Teddy Pendergrass, Billy Joel and Lady Gaga.

Hendrix fans will “Kiss the Sky” with Jimy Bleu at The Queen, 500 N. Market St., Wilmington at 8 p.m., Friday. COST $15. INFO or (202) 730-3331.

2. A bunch of cool characters like The Grinch and Elsa will be in the house for you and your little ones to hang out with during a holiday tea party. As a heads up, tickets are running low for this event.

Hot and cold tea will be dished up with baked cookies. Children will get the chance to have the their photos taken with characters.

There will also be a performance by the Milton Theatre’s own Triple Threat group.

3. Rock band The Nerds embraced their name before it was considered chic.

The Nerds started in 1985 and played a mix of TV themes, classic rock and soul.

After three decades, the band has seen over 60 people come through their road crew and promotional crew. Their longevity surpasses that of the Energizer Bunny.
