Companies looking to meet and hire their newest employees are encouraged to attend Sussex Technical High School’s second annual career fair from 1 to 6 p.m. April 9 at the school, 17099 County Seat Highway, Georgetown.

Employers will connect with workers for seasonal jobs and part-time and full-time careers. The 2018 fair attracted more than 40 Sussex County businesses.

Setup for employers will begin at 1 p.m. The fair will be open for Sussex Tech students from 2 to 3 p.m. and for the general public from 4 to 6 p.m. Tables and chairs will be provided. Interested employers can contact or 853-1599 to sign up by April 1.

“We want to help our local employers and business partners reach a pool of great job candidates, both here and in the community,” said Sussex Technical School District Superintendent Stephen Guthrie. “Both our adult training programs and our career-technical high school produce excellent, highly skilled job candidates that would be a good fit for many employers’ needs.”
