Some fun First State events to dive into this weekend.

1. Fortify Music Fest is an all-day affair featuring local and national tribute acts on two stages Saturday.

There will be a food truck gallery and beer garden featuring the best local craft beers, including the brand-new Fortify IPA.

From Led Zeppelin to The Police to David Bowie, Fortify Music Fest will keep audiences entertained with tribute acts.

The lineup will include: June Divided (The Police tribute), Soraia (tribute to David Bowie and Joan Jett), Spokey Speaky (Bob Marley tribute), Nappy Riddem, Steal Your Peach (Grateful Dead/Allman Brothers tribute), Montana Wildaxe, Joey DiTullio and Kashmir (Led Zeppelin tribute).

Fortify Fest will get underway at Fort DuPont, 260 Old Elm Ave., Delaware City from 1 to 9 p.m., Saturday. COST $10 to $50. INFO or 838-7374.

2. New York City a cappella group The Tee-Tones specializes in classic sounds and hits from doo-wop and Motown.

The group has gigged at posh galas including performances for Paul McCartney, Jann Wenner (founder of Rolling Stone Magazine) and Berry Gordy (founder of Motown Records).

Representing a tradition of great R&B soul groups that gave birth to rock ‘n’ roll, the a cappella outfit has been making a solid reputation on the East Coast.

Tee-Tones will share their golden voices at the Smyrna Opera House, 7 W. South St., Smyrna at 7:30 p.m., Saturday. COST $25. INFO or 653-4236.

3. Anchored in a rock/reggae sound, Dry Reef is on a mission to bring a wave of energetic tunes to SoDel.

The group adds elements of indie-surf rock and electronic post-rock in their music.

On their 2018 “Alright Revival EP,” the band portrays their growth as artists.
