Destiny R. Thomas was wanted for several Delaware burglaries
Delaware State Police are announcing the arrest of a Millington, Md., woman wanted in connection with several burglaries in Kent County, Del., in the Hartly, Clayton, and Dover areas.
Destiny R. Thomas, 25, had been a fugitive since her brother and alleged accomplice, George Thomas III, was taken into custody Aug. 14.
Thomas surrendered to Dover police Aug. 16, division spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe announced Friday.
Her brother is pending extradition to Delaware for trial, Jaffe added.
Thomas is charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of theft of a firearm, two counts of criminal mischief as well as single counts of third-degree burglary, theft of property valued at more than $1,500, theft of property valued at less than $1,500, and theft of property valued at less than $1,500 where the victim is more than 65 years of age.
After arraignment in JP Court 2, she was released from custody on a $19,500 unsecured bond.
