Post your pic in front of city hall on August 15

The City of Milford is urging residents to stop by City Hall on August, 15, also known as #CityHallSelfie Day.

The event is organized by Engaging Local Government Leaders, a local government professional association that connects, communicates and educates about local government public service. #CityHallSelfie Day is a chance to celebrate local government service and the important work happening at the local level.

The City of Milford encourages residents and visitors to stop by Milford’s City Hall, snap a selfie and post their photo to social media using the hashtags #CityHallSelfie and #MilfordDE. Take one by yourself or with a group of co-workers or friends. Participants will receive a pin from city hall administration for participating. In addition, ELGL will be reviewing all of the tagged photos and awarding prizes in 20 different categories.

Milford City Hall is located at 201 South Walnut Street and is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Be sure to follow the City of Milford on Twitter (@MilfordDE) and Facebook (Milford-DE) to see #CityHallSelfie reposts and for news and information throughout the year.
