Daquan Giddens and Romazjia Robinson were arrested Thursday night.
Dover police have arrested a wanted probation violator after he was seen driving through the city.
Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said officers spotted Daquan Giddens driving in the area of Old Forge Drive and Meadow Garden Lane at about 6:05 p.m. Thursday, April 19.
The officers spotted marijuana in plain view, and a search turned up a loaded 9mm handgun reported stolen out of Virginia, Hoffman said.
A search of Giddens’ home on Norway Drive, made with the help of Delaware Probation and Parole, revealed additional marijuana and digital scales.
Giddens is charged with violation of probation, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, two counts of possession of a firearm/ammo by a person prohibited, receiving a stolen firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child and illegal gang participation.
He was ordered held at the Vaughn Correctional Center, Smyrna, on an $18,000 secured bond and a $5,000 cash bond.
A passenger in the car, identified as Romazjia Robinson charged with endangering the welfare of a child, and later released on a $2,000 unsecured bond. She also was ordered to have no contact with Giddens.
