VIDEO & STORY -- State police say the devices, which can steal your banking information, have been found at businesses up and down the First State.
The Delaware State Police are currently investigating several places where skimming devices have been reported. These devices have been primarily placed at ATM’s and gas stations.
The locations include:Sunoco, Odessa Royal Farm, 1551 Pulaski Hwy, Newark Shore Stop, 796 S. Old Baltimore Pike, Newark Royal Farms, Harrington Harbeson Deli, 26454 Lewes-Georgetown Hwy., Harbeson Exxon, 300 Chapman Road, Newark Wawa, 2748 Pulaski Hwy., Newark Wawa, 183 Airport Road, New Castle Shorestop, 522 W. Stein Highway, Seaford
Due to the large number of victims, the Financial Crimes Unit has been working with local businesses and financial institutions to identify potential victims and suspects.
The Delaware State Police reminds citizens to be vigilant and monitor your accounts closely. If you have used your payment cards at the following locations between January 1 to present., please review your accounts for fraudulent activity and contact the law enforcement agency where you live or where the illegal activity was completed.
