The Next Generation of Southern Delaware, or Next Gen South, a giving circle of the Delaware Community Foundation, announced its annual grants ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov 9 at Arena’s, 200 NE Front St., Milford.

Funds raised from Next Gen South’s annual Chowdown for Charity will be awarded to three organizations at the ceremony: Elizabeth W. Murphey School; Forge Youth and Family Academy; and Summer Learning Collaborative.

“These three organizations are doing great things to combat the addiction crisis we are facing in Southern Delaware. We were really excited to be able to fund organizations that combat addiction in a variety of different ways,” said Next Gen South board member Samantha Hemphill. “We are looking forward to others getting to know these organizations through us and hearing about the great working they’re doing in our communities.
