The Delaware Department of Transportation's contractor, Pennoni, will inspect bridges in Kent and Sussex counties, requiring daytime lane closures and lane shifts.

Motorists should be aware that bridge personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to the travel lanes and anticipate lane shifts.

Daytime lane closures and lane shifts are set for 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

— July 17: U.S. 113 to state Route 1 on-ramp, Milford. There will be alternating lane shifts on U.S. 113 northbound between Frontage Road and state Route 1 northbound.

— July 18: State Route 1 southbound off-ramp to South Rehoboth Beach Boulevard, Milford. There will be alternating lane shifts on the state Route 1 northbound off-ramp to South Rehoboth Boulevard between state Route 1 northbound and South Rehoboth Boulevard.

— July 19: Cedar Beach Road between Brown Street and Yuletide Lane, Milford. There will be alternating one-way traffic controlled by flaggers on Cedar Beach Road between Brown Street and Yuletide Lane.

— July 20: Middleford Road/High Street, Seaford. There will be alternating one-way traffic controlled by flaggers on Middleford Road between North Street and East Poplar Street.
