The musical ensemble Melomanie has partnered with CAMP Rehoboth to present a three-concert series at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center.

The first concert in the series will be Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. This performance features Icelandic violinist Eva Ingolf, performing "Raven Thoughts," written for her by Delaware composer Mark Hagerty. The ensemble will also perform Scandinavian baroque music and a special arrangement of Icelandic folk songs.

Melomanie is eager to launch this partnership and bring its music regularly to Southern Delaware fans.

"This is the perfect opportunity for us to entice new fans to discover our performances," says Mélomanie co-artistic director Tracy Richardson. "We're looking forward to developing a wonderful relationship with the Rehoboth community and we're grateful to our friends at CAMP Rehoboth for helping make this project possible."

In April 2016, the ensemble traveled to Rehoboth to present a Brazilian-themed program, featuring guest composer Liduino Pitombeira, who traveled from Brazil for the performance and post-concert party at Rehoboth's Lula Brazil Restaurant.

"The response from the audience here was warm and enthusiastic," Richardson said. "We couldn't wait to return. We're happy that we can be a part of downtown Rehoboth's arts scene."

Tickets for the Nov. 5 performance can be purchased online at or reserved by calling 764-6338. Advance purchase is encouraged, as concert seating is limited.

A post-concert meet-the-artists reception, catered by Lori's Café, will be held at the CAMP Community Center as well in Rehoboth Beach. Two additional performances will be held at CAMP on Feb. 4 and March 25, 2017.
