The first event, an outdoor showing of Patagonia’s “The New Localism Film Festival,” will be held at Abbott’s Mill on Friday, May 20. The evening will feature three environmentally themed short films inspiring people to think globally and act locally via surfing, trail running, climbing, and more.

Doors open for happy hour at 6 p.m. and the films will start at 7. Parking for the Film Festival will be in the Lindale Meadow across the street from the main Abbott’s Mill Nature Center entrance, on the western side of Abbott’s Pond.
