Donald Kittle is being held in the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $2,000 cash bond.

A Felton man, identified as Donald Kittle has been jailed after his truck crashed into a home in the 4300 block of South Bowers Road.
Delaware State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said Kittle was driving his 2011 Chevrolet Silverado when it left the road and hit the home. Kittle ran away as the truck caught fire, but was found hiding between nearby houses.
The South Bowers Beach Fire Company extinguished the fire at the truck and home, Fournier said.
Kittle, who was not hurt in the crash, was tested for DUI, and charged with driving under the influence, failure to provided information at a collision scene, failure to report a collision to police, leaving the scene of a property damage collision and failure to have insurance.
He also faces a charge of offensive touching of a police officer when he became pushed a trooper while being processed at Troop 3.
