The goal of the 15th annual Christmas Tree Extravaganza at the Milford Public Library this month is to raise $3,570 in donations to help four-year-old Alyssa Wolfe’s family purchase a harness system for her that will allow her to stand and walk independently.
Wolfe, who has a twin brother Zachary, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy earlier this year.
Kay Hudson, the director for the Milford library, said the library has raised $1,314 for Wolfe’s harness system as of Dec. 10. That leaves $2,256 to go.
