John T. Long, a 15-year-old of the 1100 block of Deep Grass Lane in Greenwood, was arrested by the Harrington Police Department on a warrant related to a shooting that allegedly took place on Nov. 28 on Grant Street in Harrington, police spokesman Lt. Earl K. Brode said.

Harrington police said they received a tip on Dec. 10 that Long was at a residence on Milby Street. They responded to that location and took him into custody.
Long also had active warrants out of Delaware State Police Troop 3 for an unrelated incident. He was then taken to Justice of the Peace Court 7 for arraignment.
Long is charged with second-degree conspiracy, disorderly conduct, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and two counts of first-degree reckless endangering stemming from the incident in Harrington and he also faces charges from the Delaware State Police.
He was committed to the Stevenson Juvenile Detention Center in Milford in default of $83,100 cash only bail.
Jordan E. Dixon, a 16-year-old of the 14000 block of Adams Road in Greenwood, was previously taken into custody at his residence on Dec. 8 by the Delaware State Police and taken to the Harrington Police Department for processing. Nobody was injured in the shooting incident.
