Wesley Chapel U.M. Church Gospel Celebrations

At 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, a Men in Black/Women in White service will be held at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

On Sunday, April 26, Men and Women’s Day will be celebrated with the theme being “Men and Women in Christ.” Services are as follows: Morning Worship Service at 10:45 a.m.; Afternoon Worship Service at 4 p.m.

Lenten Wednesday services

The Milford Ministerium is sponsoring Lenten Wednesday a service at noon on Wednesday, April 1 at Mt. Enon Baptist Church.

The host church provides a simple luncheon that follows. There will also be an Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. in Bicentennial Park. The Milford Ministerium is an organization of Milford area clergy and church representatives committed to addressing the spiritual health and human needs of the Milford community.

Christ Episcopal Church hosting Mary Baldwin College Choir Sunday

The 50-voice women’s Mary Baldwin College Choir under the direction of David Tate will sing during the 10:15 a.m. service on March 29 at Christ Episcopal Church, 200 Church St., Milford. Service presenting various sacred selections. You are welcome to join us for this special opportunity.

Soup and Clothes Outreach at Freedom Worship Center

Freedom Worship Center hosts a soup and clothes outreach from noon to 2 p.m. every Tuesday. The Center is located at 723 S. Washington St., Milford.

Services at the Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist

Each Sunday, the Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist, located at 307 Federal St. in Milton, holds Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and Eucharistic worship service at 10 a.m. followed by coffee hour. Choir participation is every Sunday. Bible Study is at 7 p.m. on Mondays. The Rev. John Barton officiates. For more information, call 684-8431.

La Roca Church Hosts English Language Prayer Meeting

Church of God the Rock (Iglesia de Dios La Roca), 310 S. E. Front St., Milford, hosts an English language Prayer Meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. each Saturday. The name of the group is “The Great I AM Pentecostal Fellowship.” Meetings include praise and worship music, testimonies and prayers for participants, area churches and revival. Dress is casual. After the music, children may attend Kids’ Time and enjoy a brief Bible study, coloring and related activities.

Conley’s UM Church presents Living Easter

Conley’s United Methodist Church in Angola, Delaware, will present its second annual Living Easter from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4 at 33104 Jolyns Way off of Camp Arrowhead Road. The rain-date is from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 5.

Admission is free, and there will be ample free parking. Golf carts to help the handicapped will be available each night. All donations of cash and canned goods go to local charities.
