What's new at the Milford Public Library
Visit the Milford Public Library located at 11 S.E. Front St., overlooking Library Square Park. The library is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you don’t have time to stop by, check out our website at www.milfordpubliclibrary.org, or give us a call at 422-8996. You can access the Delaware Library Catalog to reserve or renew materials, access your library card account or just take a leisurely look at what is available at your Delaware libraries.
Call now to reserve your copy of next month’s book club selections. The Monday night group will read “The Glass Castle” by Jeanette Walls and will meet for discussion on January 12 at 7:00p.m. The Tuesday afternoon group will meet on January 13 at 1:00 p.m. to discuss “The Innocent Man” by John Grisham.
Memorialize or honor a family member or friend while supporting the library expansion project. Brick pavers are available for a donation of $100 for each paver. The pavers are 4” x 8” and can accommodate three lines of printing with 16 characters per line. The pavers will be a perpetual remembrance to share with all who enter the library.
Enjoy “Bunting Books” in Storyhour on December 30. Author Eve Bunting has written over 100 books for children. Join us for Buntings’ “Happy Birthday, Dear Duck,” “I Love You, Too!,” and “Little Bear’s Little Boat” all told with props, puppets and presents.

Show your child’s love of reading; their love of the library and their love of art. Children may express themselves through painting…on a tile to be a permanent part of the New Expanded Children’s Library. Tiles will be available for $25 each. Call the library, 422-8996, to reserve a tile for your child, grandchild, niece, nephew or any other child you know and love.
Parents, teachers and daycare providers: Check out our new “Parenting Shelf.” The parenting collection offers resources for helping your child/children learn to read, dealing with autism and ADHD, activities for preschoolers and more!
