Seeking interest for youth lacrosse program
Milford Youth Lacrosse is a program presently in the planning stages and hopes are that it will become a reality in the spring of 2009.
It is being coordinated by the Milford High School lacrosse coaching staff. The organization’s intent is to promote the game of lacrosse to those players below high school age. Currently there are no age restrictions and those interested in playing are asked to e-mail their names and ages to Milfordlacrosse@comcast.net. Parents or any other adult who are interested in coaching are asked to e-mail their information as well. No prior experience is required, just a genuine desire to promote North America’s oldest sport to young athletes.
If there is enough interest, an organizational meeting will be held in regards to scheduling and costs. For more information about lacrosse, visit www.uslacrosse.org/the_sport/index.phtml or www.eteamz.com/MilfordLacrosse.
