The Milford High School boys' and girls' swimming teams easily handled Appoquinimink High School on Tuesday, continuing an unbeaten season for the girls and a five-game winning streak for the boys.
The girls' team lost just one event all afternoon, the 100-yard backstroke. Every other race ended in a Buc victory, leading to a 125-39 blowout in the overall meet.
The boys had a tougher race on their hands. They split their events nearly down the middle, winning five to Appoquinimink's six, but the Jaguars' small roster prevented them from fielding more than one or two entries in most races, so the Bucs were able to rack up points by sweeping the lower positions even when they didn't take first place. The final score ended up 98-66. The Bucs won the 100-yard butterfly, freestyle and backstroke races and the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays.
The Bucs travel to Lake Forest High School on Friday.
