The Milford High School varsity wrestling team suffered its first defeat of the season at the hands of the defending Henlopen Conference champions on Friday night. Despite taking an early lead, the Bucs found themselves overpowered by the Smyrna Eagles, and lost44-16.
Cat Lallier, David Jordan, Chris Harris and Isaiah Fidderman had the Bucs' four wins. Lallier took a 17-8 major decision, Jordan won by pin with five seconds left in the second period, Harris won a 12-5 decision and Fidderman edged out a 7-5 win.
