Dustin Killinger took his second tournament championship of the year to lead the Bucs to a fourth-place finish at this weekend's Delmarva Classic. Alvontae Drummond, Chris Harris, Anthony Bonville and Brent Wingrove all took second place togive the Bucs the second-best team score of any Delaware school in the tourney, four points behind Sussex Tech.
Killinger took the 140-pound championship with a 6-4 overtime win against Parkside's Brenan McAllister. Drummond made it to the 125-pound finals against Sussex Tech's John Briddell, but had to forfeit the match. Bonville lived and died by the pin, winning his first three matches by fall in a grand total of just 4:43, before being pinned by Stephen Decatur's Devin Bataille in 1:32. Harris lost a major decision to Tech's Wendell Cannon at 135 pounds, and Wingrove lost by major decision in the 171-pound finals to Decatur's Bryce Smith.
David Jordan had the Bucs' only third-place finish of the weekend, while Isaiah Fidderman and Derek Chilicas took fourth.
The Bucs travel to Caesar Rodney for a dual meet on Monday night.
