Doris M. Boytano, 83, (nee Clancy) was born in New York City and died on January 12, 2010 after a battle with inflammatory breast cancer.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years Robert A Boytano in 2005 and her brother Francis H. Clancy in 1986. Doris is survived by brothers Robert N. Clancy of Rehoboth Beach and John W. Clancy of Wilmington; her children Ann L. Manley of Wilmington, Carol I. Winn of Valatie, N.Y., Robert A. Boytano Jr. of Middletown, N.J., Janet M. Boytano of Lebanon, Ore., Nancy L. Keyser of Double Oak, Texas, Lawrence C. Boytano of Lake Worth, Fla., eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Doris enjoyed living at Milford Crossing, Milford, where for the last 10 years she played bingo with friends, watched deer in the woods and bowling on TV and entertained many family visitors.
She also had wonderful memories of living in La Jolla, Calif. with a martini tree (read lemon) in the yard and Mequon, Wis., where she experienced some of the sweetest corn ever grown. Her fondest memories were summers with family in Rocky Point, on the north shore of Long Island, N.Y.

In accordance with Doris’s wish, there was no service. Please send memorial contributions or remembrances to Casa San Francisco Center, 127 Broad St., Milton, DE 19968-1601. Arrangements were handled by Chandler Funeral Homes & Crematory at www.chandlerfuneralhome.com.
