Leonard C. “Lenny” Reynolds Jr. of Milford, went to his heavenly home peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. He was 65.

Mr. Reynolds was born in Wilmington on August 13, 1943. He worked for Dupont Co. for 35 years. Upon retirement, he worked for Delmarva Rubber and Gasket.

During Mr. Reynold’s life, he was a Sunday School teacher at Calvary Methodist Church, Milford Little League manager and coach and a volunteer member of the Carlisle Fire Company.  He loved God and served him. He was the group leader of a Bible Group Club. Mr. Reynolds enjoyed Nascar, especially Jeff Gordon and supported and loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He was an avid baseball card collector.  He truly loved his family and adored his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Leonard C. Reynolds Sr. and a brother John “Jack” Reynolds.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sylvia Rogers Reynolds; one son, Jeffrey A. Reynolds and his wife Suzanne of Milford, two daughters, Kristine L. Phillips and her husband Richard of Milford, and Jodi K. Brown and her husband Eddie of Smyrna; his mother, Ruth Reynolds of Greenwood; and four grandchildren: Brittany and Daniel Phillips and Taylor and Ethan Reynolds; a sister-in-law Joanne Reynolds of Wilmington; a brother, Daniel Rogers and his wife Priscilla of Milford; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on June 1 at Berry Short Funeral Home, Milford. Interment was in Milford Community Cemetery.
