Helen M. Joyce of Milford died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at The Milford Center. She was 94.
Mrs. Joyce was born in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late George and Anastasia (Czhemic) Palahunich.
She was a homemaker. Helen and her husband Arthur moved to Milford from Connecticut in December 1977. Mrs. Joyce was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. She was a member of the Milford Senior Center and enjoyed taking trips to Hawaii and Alaska with the group. She was a also a member of the Shawnee Homemakers Club. Helen was an avid and accomplished quilter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur L. Joyce in 1981.
She is survived by her son Michael Joyce and his wife Marina, of Newark and a granddaughter Jennifer Young, of Chapel Hill, NC.
Services were held at Lofland Funeral Home, Milford where prayers were recited. Burial was private in Milford Community Cemetery.
