Fayline L. Denkenberger of Frederica died Friday Dec. 18, 2009, at her daughter’s home in Milford surrounded by her family. She was 66 years old.
Mrs. Denkenberger was born in Baltimore, Md. on October 3, 1943 to the late Albert H. and Ernestine Knauf Eisenlohr.
She was the Outreach Coordinator for the Frederica Senior Center, where she was also a member; a member of the North Bowers Beach Fire Company Ladies Auxilary; and Ionie Council Pocohantax Lodge #13.
Mrs. Denkenberger was preceded in death by her husband Edward in December 2005.
She is survived by her daughter Sharrie Webb and her husband David of Milford; son Edward Denkenberger II and his wife Lori of Frederica; sister Pauline Pfeifer and her husband Sewell of Glen Burnie, Md.; four grandchildren Mikel Coverdale, David Webb Jr., Jamie Denson and Jennifer Gallagher; six great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23, at the Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Ave., Milford where friends may call one hour prior. Also, a visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 East Lebanon Road, Dover, DE 19901.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.
