Anthony “Tony” Calvanesa, of Delaware City died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at his home.
He was 76.
He was born on February 18, 1933, the son of the late Antonio and Erna Starke Calvanesa.
He was a retired Post Master in Delaware City. He was also in the Merchant Marines.
Tony graduated from Milford High School where he was a varsity football player.
He enjoyed being with family and friends.
Tony was survived by three brothers Alfred and his friend Ponsi of Milford, William and his wife Doris of Greenwood, and James and his wife Peggy of Milford; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Dec. 26.
Arrangements were by Fleischauer Funeral Home of Greenwood.
