Mildred B. Warren, of Lincoln, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2009 at Bayhealth at Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 80.
She was born in Bridgeville the daughter of the late Howard and Alice (McCoy) Beebe.
She was an inspector of quality control at ILC for the Space Program for 15 years. After retiring, she worked for 15 years on the family farm raising chickens with her husband. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going on the pontoon boat, fishing and crabbing and spending time at her beach house. She also enjoyed traveling, listening to Allan Jackson music and watching the Orioles. When she welcomed visitors to her home, they always had to have something to eat and she always had candy for her guests.
In addition to her parents, a sister, Barbara Townsend, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert A. Warren; three children: Robert A. Warren, Jr., of Harrington, Joyce Ann Pagden and her husband James, of Lincoln, and Brenda Dantonio and her boyfriend Mike Collins, of Milford; five grandchildren: Danny Warren, Henry Warren, Robert A. Warren III, Tina Hitchens and T.J. Dantonio; seven great grandchildren: Bryce Warren, Shannon Warren, Robert A. Warren IV, Kaitlyn Warren, Khailer Hitchens, Meghan Warren and Madisyn Hitchens; a sister, Marian Vincent and her husband William, three brothers: Frank Beebe and his wife Frances Ann, Johnny Beebe and Dennis Beebe.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford.
Burial will be private.
