CHILDREN’S PARADE / Millsboro
Will take place July 4 at 10 a.m., starting at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, on State Street, and proceeding through downtown Millsboro. For more information, call 934-7750.
FIREWORKS / Rehoboth Beach

DAY-LONG CELEBRATION / Laurel
Will take place July 4 with a 7:30 a.m. prayer breakfast (cost, $12), a 5K run at 8:30 a.m., a parade at 10 a.m. as well as a talent show and carnival. For more information, call 875-9319 or visit www.laurelchamber.com.
DAY-LONG CELEBRATION / Dover
Will take place July 4 throughout the day in downtown Dover, with children’s activities along Federal Street, an entertainment stage in front of the Capitol Building (Dixieland band concert at 6:30 p.m.; 287th Army Band of the Delaware National Guard concert at 8:10 p.m.), a 6 p.m. parade on State Street and fireworks at 9:20 p.m. For more information, visit www.dover4thofjuly.com.
PARADE/FIREWORKS/HORSESHOE TOURNEY / Bethany Beach
Will take place July 3 with the 25th annual Independence Day Parade at noon on July 3 in downtown Bethany, followed by the 21st annual horseshoe tournament. On July 4, the town will host fireworks at dusk.
OLD-FASHIONED FOURTH OF JULY / Lewes
Will take place July 4, along Second Street, with kids' games and competitions at 9 a.m. (registration at 8 a.m.) and ending at 1:30 p.m. A boat parade will take place at 1:30 p.m. down Lewes-Rehoboth Canal to Fisherman's Wharf for judging.
KIDS’ CONCERT / Selbyville
Will take place July 4 at 10 a.m. on The Freeman Stage at Bayside, 31750 Lakeview Dr., in Selbyville, with a concert by the Dirty Sock Funtime Band.
