The Milford Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed the Shore Stop convenience store at gunpoint at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
Police said the robber, a white man between 5'5" and 5'7", was wearing a ski mask, a blue windbreaker jacket, black jogging pants with orange stripes and winter gloves. He entered the Shore Stop on Route 1, just north of New Wharf Road, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the store clerk. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene. No one was injured.
