Milford Community Band and the Milford School District Music Department present the Seventh Annual Private Band Lessons Scholarship Raffle. Proceeds directly benefit elementary and middle school band students in the Milford School District. Students chosen will receive tuition-free private music lessons this summer.
Grand prize is a downtown Milford “Staycation.” This prize includes: a two-night stay for two at a downtown bed and breakfast; fresh flowers delivered to your room courtesy of Gooden’s Floral Shop; lunch for two in Milford (partially underwritten by Lofland’s Funeral Home); dinner for two in Milford; lunch at a local sub shop; a second dinner for two at another downtown restaurant $10 gift certificate to a local retailer; two free books of your choice; coffee and goodies; two one-day VIP passes to Extreme Total Fitness; and free gift at Bikes Etc. when you stop in. All certificates will be presented in a handmade basket.
Second prize is two tickets to a Dover Symphony performance and dinner for two in Dover.
Third prize is two tickets to a Second Street Players performance and dinner for two at Milford Applebee’s.
There will be a special early bird prize drawn on Thursday, May 14, at Milford High School’s “Night of the Arts” concert.
Tickets cost $2 each; three for $5; or 10 for $15.
The final drawing will be held at Milford Middle School’s eighth grade spring concert, which will be held on Wednesday, May 20.
