Theoddis Johnson was taken into custody Oct. 31

Officers with the US Marshal’s Task Force have arrested Theoddis Johnson, 21, of Milford in connection with a September drug case.

Police spokesman Det. Timothy Maloney said that on Sept. 25 Milford officers were in the Silver Lake Estates apartment complex as part of a drug investigation. Police had spotted Johnson and his car, with the driver’s side door open, in the parking lot along with a number of other people. By the time officers obtained a search warrant on the vehicle, Johnson had left the area.

Police were issued an arrest warrant for Johnson shortly thereafter, and he was taken into custody Oct. 31 in the Brightway Commons apartment complex, Maloney said.

Johnson is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He later was released on a $3,500 unsecured bond pending an appearance in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.
