54-year-old Roy Perdow, of Dover, charged

The Georgetown Police Department has arrested a Dover man following recent burglaries.

On October 10, police were called to investigate thefts from numerous vehicles located within a business on the 100 block of North Race Street in Georgetown, which the suspect gained access to by climbing a fence. Police were also contacted on October 11 for an incident involving a theft from a vehicle within a business on Bridgeville Road in Georgetown.

Detectives were able to develop 53-year-old Roy Perdow, of Dover, as a suspect. He was located and taken into custody on October 12, and charged with ten counts of third-degree burglary, second-degree trespassing, third-degree trespassing and ten counts of attempted theft. Perdow was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $5,500 unsecured bond.
