36-year-old Zabrina Wilson arrested.
Delaware State Police arrested a Bridgeville woman for her fifth-offense DUI after she was involved in a single motor vehicle crash.
The incident occurred on Monday, April 30, at around 5:45 p.m., when troopers were dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Atlanta Road, south of Hill Road, in Seaford. The operator of the vehicle involved, a blue 1989 Chevrolet S10 pickup, had fled the scene. An investigation revealed that the operator attempted to navigate a turn, lost control and flipped several times before the truck came to rest on all four wheels.
A search of the area led to the discovery of the driver, identified as 36-year-old Zabrina M. Wilson. An odor of alcohol was detected by troopers and a DUI investigation ensued. A computer check revealed that Wilson had four previous DUI convictions, making this her fifth offense. She was also found to be in possession of marijuana.
Wilson was charged with felony fifth-offense DUI, possession of marijuana, leaving the scene of an accident and related traffic charged. She was committed to the Baylor Women's Correctional Institution on $6,504 secured bond.
