The Delaware State Police partnered with the Delaware Department of Education in hosting Violent Intruder Preparedness and Response seminars.

The seminars will run from 6 to 8 p.m. April 11 at Redding Middle School, 201 New St., Middletown; April 16 at Laurel Middle School, 1133 S. Central Ave.; April 17 at Indian River High School, 29772 Armory Road, Dagsboro; April 23 at Caesar Rodney High School, 239 Old North Road, Camden; and May 3 at Cape Henlopen High School, 1250 Kings Highway, Lewes

These free training sessions will include topics related to active shooter threats, emergency preparedness, suspicious activity reporting and hometown security threats. The seminars are open to the public, and no registration is required. Three additional training seminars will be announced later.
