Brandywine Counseling and Community Services will expand services through its Milford office — 769 Masten Circle, behind County Bank — to offer prevention education programs to youth and young adults.

“Prevention is the key when it comes to addressing the opioid crisis facing our state and our nation,” said Lynn Fahey, CEO of BCCS. “It’s critical that we offer resources, support and share messages with youth about the dangers of addiction so they can make healthy choices as adults.”

Additional programs offered at BCCS’ Milford’s site include prevention services for youth and young adult; adult and adolescent services; behavioral health treatment; assessments/evaluations/case management; counseling (individual, group and family); level one outpatient for substance abuse; psychotherapy services; and IOP level, medical assistant — Methadone, Suboxone or Vivitrol.
