The Food Bank of Delaware, 1040 Mattlind Way, Milford, will offer a community cooking class with Executive Chef Tim Hunter from 6 to 8 p.m. April 12.

Students will learn how to make basic soups and sauces in a commercial kitchen, and these skills will transfer to their home kitchen.

A second class will also be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. April 19 at the Food Bank’s Newark kitchen, 14 Garfield Way.

The cost is $35 per person, with a 20 student class limit. Light refreshments will be available during class. Students must register in advance.
