33-year-old Michael Gieron and 35-year-old Joshua Harshbanger, both of Lewes.

The Lewes Police Department has arrested two people in connection with multiple February burglaries.

Between Feb. 14 and 17, six daytime burglaries of vacant residences and garages occurred in Lewes, in the unit block of Rhode Island, the 600 block of Pilottown Road, the unit block of Queen Anne and the 400 block of West 3rd Street. Evidence recovered at the scene, as well as information received in cooperation with the Delaware State Police, led to the arrest of 34-year-old Michael Gieron and 35-year-old Joshua Harshbanger, both of Lewes.

Gieron was charged with five counts of burglary, two counts of theft over $1,500, three counts of theft under $1,500, three counts of criminal mischief and one count of receiving stolen property.

It was determined that Gieron had sold the stolen property to Harshbanger, who was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property.
