Country artists Kane Brown and Josh Phillips are coming to Harrington on June 2
Kane Brown and Josh Phillips will be the first concert in the new Quillen Arena Concert Series, presented by Bud Light, on June 2 at 7 p.m. at the Delaware State Fair.
Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at delawarestatefair.com or by calling (800) 514-3849. General admission tickets are $35 and PIT tickets are $65.
The State Fair has been working on developing concerts outside of the regular 10 days of the fair.
"Our 'Fair Family,' as we like to call the fairgoers, have always suggested that the fair needed to do more shows throughout the year," according to a statement by Danny Aguilar, assistant general manager of the State Fair. "After the 2017 fair, we decided to try a show in the spring and one in the fall inside the Quillen Arena or 'The Q.'
"We have received a lot of requests on our social media channels for Kane Brown, so we thought let's see if we could get him to kick off this brand new Concert Series."
The arena will take on more of a festival look and feel inside and out with food trucks, beer gardens and festival-style seating configurations. Seating in the floor area will feature a standing PIT and general admission sections. Concert patrons looking to find a seat will be able to take advantage of the outer surrounding bleachers, also arranged in a first come GA configuration.
