Son was inmate at Sussex Correctional Institution

Investigators at Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown have arrested 43-year-old Angel Osborne of Hurlock, Maryland, for sending narcotics to her incarcerated son, Patrick Osborne.    It was learned in late December 2017 that a shipment of contraband was expected to arrive at the prison, sent through the United States Postal Service by Angel Osborne. The narcotics were intercepted upon arrival and Angel Osborne was arrested. She was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, promoting prison contraband and second-degree conspiracy. She was committed to the Department of Correction in lieu of $13,000 cash bail.   Patrick Osborne was charged with criminal solicitation, promoting prison contraband and second-degree conspiracy. He received an $8,000 cash bond on his new charges.
