The Development Team convened to address possible discrimination in Delaware schools will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Del-One Conference Center on the Delaware Technical and Community College Terry Campus, 100 Campus Drive, Dover.

Gov. John Carney in July 2017 issued a memorandum to the Delaware Department of Education asking the department to develop a regulation and model policy to address potential discrimination in Delaware schools.

The Anti-Discrimination Development Team will review, advise and provide feedback on a draft anti-discrimination regulation and model policy that has been developed, that can then be shared by the larger stakeholder audience.
