The Medical Society of Delaware announced that Mary S. Fenimore joined as the manager of community affairs.
Fenimore has a background in journalism and communication, having worked as a television news reporter, anchor and producer in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Charlottesville, Virginia. Fenimore also has experience in marketing, event planning, fundraising and community outreach. She maintained her own public relations, communications and marketing consulting company since 2008.
She has experience in health care, working as a trustee and communications director for the The Brady Kohn Foundation and director of development for Planned Parenthood of the Blue Ridge.
Fenimore will manage and oversee media and public relations, community health outreach and development for the Medical Society of Delaware. Fenimore will help to build and sustain strategic relationships with constituencies within the health care industry in Delaware and work to enhance the identity and public awareness of MSD.
Fenimore is a graduate from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She lives in North Wilmington and is the mother of three children who attend Wilmington Friends School and Mount Pleasant High School.
