The board of directors of Downtown Milford Inc. named Murrie Zlotziver its new executive director effective Sept. 18.
A certified Pennsylvania Elm Street manager and previous independent business owner,
Zlotziver comes to DMI with more than 30 years of nonprofit administration, economic and fund
development and public relations experience. Zlotziver was the Elm Street manager for the Mifflinburg Heritage & Revitalization Association in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, for five years before moving to Milford.
He also owned the Page After Page community bookstore and Note After Note, which produced
musical events and managed musical groups, in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, since 2008.
Zlotziver’s primary responsibilities will be to advocate for and build awareness of DMI’s goals
and activities and to work closely with DMI’s partners and stakeholders to build upon the civic, commercial and cultural development of Milford’s Downtown. He will be in training within his first week and will be working with volunteers on DMI’s fundraiser, We Are Milford Party, on Sept. 30.
