The Night of Comedy, hosted by the Auxiliary of Milford Memorial Hospital, raised more than $10,000 that will be used toward the purchase of a van to transport patients receiving treatment at the Cancer Center at Bayhealth Milford Memorial.

Because of unforeseen circumstances, the comedy team headliners had to bow out, but the audience was able to enjoy entertainment provided by vocalist Paul deWolfe at the Milford Senior Center.

The fundraiser included two raffle items. Stephanie Glasgow won the week at a Fenwick Island beach house and Jean Chodkowski won the four-digit, black-and-white Delaware license plate.

Sponsors for the event were Hermann Financial Services, Milford Rent-All and PNC Bank.
