The city of Milford is encouraging residents to participate in The National Citizen Survey, designed to provide a baseline of how the Milford city government is serving residents, to gauge perceptions of the city and to make comparisons with peer cities.

The city contracted with National Research Center, Inc. to participate in The National Citizen Survey, an instrument that was developed with the assistance of the International City/County Management Association in 2001 to provide cities with a low-cost method to measure citizen opinion.

The survey includes questions about quality of life in the community, local policies, demographics, rating of local government services and resident use of services.

From the community, 1,500 households will receive invitations to participate in the mail and their responses will be weighted and analyzed.
