Delaware State Police have arrested a juvenile and charged him in connection with a residential burglary in which shots were fired at the homeowner.

Fifteen-year-old Dylan Gordon, of Selbyville, was developed as a suspect through investigation. According to police, on Nov. 27, 2016, Gordon burglarized a residence in the 32000 block of Sanbru Lane in Selbyville.  He removed several guns from the residence and fired two shots from one of them, causing the victim to retreat back into the house as Gordon fled. No one was injured.

On Thursday, Feb. 9, Gordon was arrested and arraigned before the Sussex County Family Court. He was charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree reckless endangering, four counts of theft of a firearm, four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, felony theft and criminal mischief. He was committed to the Stevenson House Detention Center in default of $12,500 secured bond. More charges are expected.
