In commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, guided tours will focus on three compelling stories of courageous Delawareans whose fight for freedom and equality began at The Old State House.

Guided tours will focus on African American vocalists and civil rights activists Paul Robeson and Marian Anderson, accompanied by 78 rpm recordings of those artists played on authentic Victor Talking Machines.

Mt. Zion AME Rev. Ellis Louden will give a keynote address aimed at inspiring listeners to pick up the torch and help make their nation a better place like Martin Luther King Jr.

There’s nothing like giving back, especially to those who you use a helping hand. Here’s your opportunity to pitch in by serving families in need at the Food Bank of Delaware’s volunteer room in Milford, sponsored by the Delaware State Bar Association.

Chase Center of the Riverfront, 815 Justison St., Wilmington. Clarence Jones, former speechwriter and advisor for Martin Luther King Jr., will give a keynote address at this annual breakfast honoring MLK, an event sponsored by the Delaware State Bar Association.

Our world is richer because of biodiversity. Come and learn why every living thing has a special place and purpose on our earth. Through fun activities, stories and crafts, you’ll discover how to be a better animal ambassador. Campers must be potty trained and come dressed for the weather, must bring a bag lunch and water bottle. Aftercare until 5 p.m.
