Eighteen brave Delawareans came together Thursday afternoon to humiliate themselves for charity in the State Fair's annual pig-kissing contest. In addition to raising money for local scholarships for weeks beforehand, each one had to perform for a packed crowd, with specific tasks ranging from Elvis impersonation to dancing the hula. At the end, the top two find-raisers, the lowest fund-raiser and one competitor chosen by the audience planted a kiss on Reds, a small red-furred pig.

This year's "winners" were Bob Souza, top corporate fund-raiser, with Harrington Raceway and Casino; John Schatzschneider, top private fund-raiser, with the city of Harrington; Jessica Jacobs, lowest fund-raiser, with the Harrington Police Department; and Jonathan Kendall, the audience's choice, also with the HPD.

The Pig-Kissing contest has raised more than $80,000 for scholarships since 1997.
